Old Fashion Christmas Nails

To do this look I used a couple of techniques. One was the french manicure and the second was the feathered look
I started by doing a french manicure with Peace on earth by: China Glaze, then i did two curved stripes with Tuscan Sun by: Sally Hansen. Then I used a nail art brush with Peace on earth to do feathers on the right corner of each nail.
Then I added and rusty red rein-stone at the tip of the feathers to add dimension.
these colors remind me of and old fashioned Christmas and this combo looks really good together

let me know what you think?

Pumpkin Nail Tutorial

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!! here is how I did this look my base color is Brights Power by: O.P.I I let this dry completely and then I used Green-Wich Village by:O.P.I on the lower part of the thumb and ring finger on both hands. I drew leaves with it and used Who the Shrek Are You by:O.P.I as a highlight using a nail art brush. Then for the highlight of the pumpkin I used In My Back Pocket by:O.P.I with a nail art brush to draw vertical lines to create the ringkles on the pumpkin body. I also used this color to do a french tip on the rest of my nails. Tell me what you think

Midnight Matte Nail design

I fell in love with this look let me tell you how i did it
first I put one thick coat of Obscurity by: O.P.I (Go Goth collection) its a really nice matte charcoal color. Then I used Silver by: Silk Line to add a feathered effect from the bottom corner going towards the upper corner. I then put Matte About you by: Essie to turn the silver matte and finally with a white by: Silk Line I added swirls and dots on each nail.
don't put a top coat you don't want to turn you look into a Glossy finish.
tell me what you think

Brown and Beige Nails

I had allot of fun doing this look
I bought 3 new shade this weekend from Sally Hansen, they were 3 for $10 at my local Superstore
I used Chestnut by: Sally Hansen to do the base and the I took Classic Camel by: China Glaze and a nail art brush to do the design. First I drew a diagonal line across my nail from one corner to the other. Then I drew an other diagonal parallel to the other. Lastly I painted half a flower on the upper half of the nail with one dot on the beside the flower.
let me know what you think.

My New Favorite Top Coat

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

I've seen allot and I mean allot of people on Youtube and Luuux talk about this product so I decided that I would buy it if I could find it here in Canada.
So I found it at Sally's Beauty supply store for $11.29 and bought one to see if it really was as amazing as people said it was.

Pro's: Dries all layers of polish in less then 2 minutes. So what I do is but the base color and drop a layer of Seche Vite on top before I do my designs then when I'm all done I trow another layer of it on to finish it off.

Con's: It smells really strong and you have to make sure you open a window when you do your nails or else you risk on getting a little dizzy...lol

All in all I love it and will keep on buying it.

Abstract Floral Nails

This look was a little hard to do because of my short nails but here is how I did it.
On the bottom half of my nails I put Awakening by: China Glaze and on the upper half I put Debutante by: NOX Twilight. Then I used white by: Silk Line to do the diagonal lines starting from the top corner pulling towards the opposite bottom corner. Finally I used Curry Up Don't Be Late by: O.P.I and a Dotting tool to do three dots on the bottom of each nail.
Let me know what you think

Peek-A-Boo Nails

I think these are cute so I'm going to share them with you.
the first thing I did was use Black by: Silk line and drew a half circle at the bottom of the nail, then I used a White to fill it in.
I picked Five O.P.I. colors, one for each nail so the green was "who the Shrek are you" the pink was "la paz-itively hot" the blue was "Orge-the-top blue" the orange was "in my back pocket" and the purple was "lucky lucky lavender. I added to eyes and voila! its that easy.
Hope you like it, let me know

Neon Star Nails

Perfect for short nails and long whatever you please. It is a very easy look to do. I used Pink Voltage (neon) by: China Glaze and put two coats all over the nail. Then I put Flying Dragon (neon) by: China Glaze on the upper half and before it dries I used a dotting tool and smudged out the purple into the pink. Last step was to put silver star decors at the bottom corner of the nail. Please keep in mind these two colors dry kinda matte so to give it an all round shine I used O.P.I. Top Coat to finish it all off.
Hope you enjoy let me know what you think.

O.P.I Suede Finsh Nail Polish

I tried the suede finish polish by O.P.I. for the fist time today and I absolutely love it. It dries super fast and goes on so smooth I couldn't believe it. The color is called Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Suede. beautiful color for fall and winter. can't wait to try more. I also used Purple With A Purpose by: O.P.I. and then I used black by: Silk Line to add a little detail.
A few tips when using suede and or matte finish nail polishes. They don't last as long as regular nail polishes and it can scratch easily O.P.I. recommends that you do the tips in a glossy finish Nail Polish to make it last a bit longer. If you put a top coat on the suede or matte finish polishes you turn it into a glossy polish.

Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen

Ok this is the third time I try these pens and again I'm disappointed. I don't know why I keep on trying them, maybe I'm hoping I find a method that becomes easier because the pen tip is awesome but the product is not. The paint is no very pigmented and it scratches of really easily and if you apply a top coat or clear coat the paint cracks. all in all I will not buy anymore of these what a Bummer

Antique Paisley

these nails were fun to do but the product I used was not so good but it turned out ok.
the color I used as a base was secret peri-wink-le by: China Glaze (I love this color) but the paisley design was done with the Sally Hansen nail art pen in white. the color was translucent and the paint cracked when top coat was applied that's why I called them antique paisley nails...lol !
