Midnight Matte Nail design

I fell in love with this look let me tell you how i did it
first I put one thick coat of Obscurity by: O.P.I (Go Goth collection) its a really nice matte charcoal color. Then I used Silver by: Silk Line to add a feathered effect from the bottom corner going towards the upper corner. I then put Matte About you by: Essie to turn the silver matte and finally with a white by: Silk Line I added swirls and dots on each nail.
don't put a top coat you don't want to turn you look into a Glossy finish.
tell me what you think

Coral and Taupe Nails

For this nail look I used Bright Lights-Big Color by O.P.I. and I sponged the tip of my nails with You Don't Know Jacques! from O.P.I. then I let it dry completely. I used White by Silk Line to draw white flowers on the thumb and ring finger on each hand, added white dots and top coat.

This look was very easy all I used was a makeup sponge and a white nail art pen.
Let me know what you think.

Peek-A-Boo Nails

I think these are cute so I'm going to share them with you.
the first thing I did was use Black by: Silk line and drew a half circle at the bottom of the nail, then I used a White to fill it in.
I picked Five O.P.I. colors, one for each nail so the green was "who the Shrek are you" the pink was "la paz-itively hot" the blue was "Orge-the-top blue" the orange was "in my back pocket" and the purple was "lucky lucky lavender. I added to eyes and voila! its that easy.
Hope you like it, let me know

O.P.I Suede Finsh Nail Polish

I tried the suede finish polish by O.P.I. for the fist time today and I absolutely love it. It dries super fast and goes on so smooth I couldn't believe it. The color is called Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Suede. beautiful color for fall and winter. can't wait to try more. I also used Purple With A Purpose by: O.P.I. and then I used black by: Silk Line to add a little detail.
A few tips when using suede and or matte finish nail polishes. They don't last as long as regular nail polishes and it can scratch easily O.P.I. recommends that you do the tips in a glossy finish Nail Polish to make it last a bit longer. If you put a top coat on the suede or matte finish polishes you turn it into a glossy polish.

A couple of new looks

Going retro nails

Very simple look for short or long nails.
I covered my whole nail with Retro red by Orly witch is a matte nail polish and then for the top half I used La Paz-itively hot by: O.P.I. and i separated it on the diagonal. then I took black by: silk line and drew a line across the nail to separate the two colors and then I added two more random strips to add the retro effect.
This look was fun to do and again you can use any color you wish.

Purple with white lace

I wanted to try out my new Orly Matte nail polish called Purple Pleather so I used it as a base and with my white by: Silk Line pen tip I did two parallel lines across the nail on the diagonal, did a criss-cross in between both lines, half circles on top and bottom of the line and I finally put dots at the very top and bottom of those little half circles to finish the look. I didn't put any top coat because I didn't want to make the matte finish shinny.

Pewter and Lime green Hawaiian flower nails

For this look I used Steel-ing the scene by: Essie to do all my nail except of the ring finger nails and for those I used Who the Shrek are you by: O.P.I. Then i used the white by: Silk Line to do the flowers.
keep in mind you can use any color you wish but this look is perfect for summer

Lavender and Silver Bridal Nails

This is a really pretty look perfect for a lavender wedding

For this look I covered the whole nail with Lucky Lucky Lavender by: O.P.I. then i let it dry completely.
then I put Birthday Babe by:O.P.I. straight across the nail diagonally.I put the the silver polish on a makeup sponge and ponged it on the nail, I did 3 layers of the silver on to make it shinny.
Then I used the white by:silk line and made on line across to separate the lavender and the silver.
On the lavender side I placed white dots with the pen tip from my white ilk line polish and on the silver side I drew two swirls right above the white line.
Last but not least I got these really nice flower nail art stickers that have a lavender and white shine to it.
hope you enjoy this look
if you have any question don't be afraid to ask

Night On The Town Nails

This Look was long to do but very simple and easy
Lets Get started: I used Birthday Babe by:O.P.I. all over the nail than 3/4 of the nail was covered by Significant Other color by: O.P.I than a strip of Purple with a purpose by:O.P.I. right above the the silver and light purple and than a black strip on the very tip of the nail I put a strip of Licorice by: Essie. I then covered the whole nail with a very light coat of Significant Other color all over the nail. ok that's it for the background.
Next I put two random yellow strips going on the diagonal with Yellow by: Strip Rite and another strip going in the other direction in Red by: Silk Line.
I outlined the buildings with the pen tip with the black by: silk line and filled it in with Licorice then for the windows of those buildings I used the pen tip of the white by: Silk line and added white dots randomly.
Last but not least I added white dot on the upper half of my nails to add stars.

Sunset Beach Nails

This look was a little hard to do and time consuming but totally worth it, here is how I did it.

First I applied the base coat then I used Need Sunglasses by: O.P.I. for the bottom quarter of the nail then the second bottom quarter I used a strip of Crush On You by: Orly right on top of that I used a strip of Royal Flush Blush by: O.P.I. and for the top tips I used Bright Lights-Big Color by:O.P.I. I let it dry completely before doing the palm trees.
For the palm trees I used Black by:Silk Line and very carefully drew the tree and the little island. Then I used a very thin coat of Goin' Ape-Ricot! by:O.P.I. all over the nail to give it a shimmer and last but not least the top coat.

I love this Look and I am going to do it again maybe with different background colors. If you have any questions don't be shy and ask I'd be more than happy to help.

Blue Yellow and Black Tartan

TARTAN FUN

For this look I used Art Dealer Teal-Er by: finger Paints as the base and then I took the yellow Stripe Rite and Black Silk Line polish to create a Tartan on my thumb and one of my fingers.

After that, I used the same black and yellow to do the tips of the rest of my fingers.

Finger Paints Nail Polish
in: Art Dealer Teal-er

This was my first time using finger paints nail polish and here are my thoughts on it.
the polish is a little thin but offers good coverage in 2 coats and the brush does not spread out when applying to the nail and it take allot of strokes to cover the whole nail.

But overall its a very good product and it comes in allot of lovable shades and I will be buying it again.
